Position Overview: As a Content Editor at Jenya, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our content. You will work closely with our content writers and proofreaders to ensure that our clients receive content that meets their expectations and adheres to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
- Ensure content adheres to client guidelines and industry-specific standards.
- Collaborate with content writers to improve overall quality and readability.
- Provide feedback and coaching to writers to enhance their writing skills.
- Fact-check and verify the accuracy of information presented in the content.
- Format and structure content for consistency and readability.
- Optimize content for SEO when necessary.
- Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.
- Maintain a style guide and editorial standards for consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional content editing experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong grasp of grammar and writing conventions.
- Proficiency in proofreading and editing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to writers.
- Familiarity with various writing styles and the ability to adapt to client preferences.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
